Good ol' G3.

Today I had a take home exam due for gen 300. I stayed up until 5am doing it. But since it was the first homework I did since last Tuesday, I guess I had it coming. :) Anyway, so I'm in class today and they start lecturing us about poverty and asking us what we think it is and what we think could be some solutions. Most people say stuff like "take preventative measures" or "relocate people to places where they can find jobs" or "stop just throwing money at the poor and try to get to the heart of the matter"... and then there's this one guy who actually has the nerve to say, and I quote, "Capitalism is the solution to the problem" because competition creates low prices which creates consumerism which creates jobs... At this point everyone's cringing, but we're not allowed to debate because this is supposed to be just a three minute brainstorming session at the very end of class. But of course Walhof saves the day with a witty sarcastic remark - "I think marxism is the solution to the problem because it creates jobs". Gotta love that guy. Can't wait for Thursdays class. Not. Maybe I'll have to carry on the tradition and bring my good friend Jose along.

I'm seriously considering quitting my job at Hope Haven. I'm tired of it. I don't enjoy it anymore. And there's just way too much documenting. I heard of a job available at People's bank. They are looking for more Spanish speakers, so I'm taking advantage of my Spanish speaking ability for once.
The Humble Bean is still my favorite job ever.
My roommies and I want to be in TX this year, so we're scheming up a sweet ass plan!
I'm so stinkin busy already! I still haven't put up my wall decs. I should cuz our walls look so bare.
I'm reading Brave New World for Gen 300 right now. I actually think it's very interesting. Odd, but interesting.

I miss a lot of people!
